Nazi Medicine: In the shadow of
the Reich
One of the many horrors of the Nazi concentration
camps was the practice of so-called research and therapeutic medicine. Using
camp inmates as subjects, from Jewish people to the mentally and physically
handicapped, medical doctors performed operations and experiments, often
without any kind of anaesthesia. Graphic photography and personal accounts
tell this story of how doctors, charged with saving human lives, abused their
trust and broke their oath to further the Nazi agenda.
The Cross and the Star: Jews,
Christians & the Holocaust
Many of the possible roots of anti-Semitism so
gruesomely acted upon during the Holocaust are examined during this program.
Find out what types of propaganda films and other materials came out early
enough for Christians and others to have possibly intervened earlier to limit
the casualties. Pogrom's survivors discuss how their faith was thoroughly
challenged by this period in history. John Michalczyk, a former Jesuit priest,
made this film in an effort to promote dialogue on this topic among all
citizens of the world
