Synopsis
The bitter grip of the criminal
element puts a tight squeeze on three generations of men in this street-smart
crime drama from director Guy Norman Bee. When a daring bank heist goes awry
and his wife is killed in the chaos, Ronnie Purnell (Dennis Hopper) is sent to
prison while his son, Aaron, is put under the care of Darryl Kurtz (Fred Ward)
— the man who engineered Ronnie's arrest. Released 30 years later and still
hungry for revenge, Ronnie finds the keys to his 1969 GTO and attempts to
contact Aaron (Will Patton), now a clean-cut police officer waging a desperate
struggle to steer his own son, Matt (Chris Carmack), clear of the criminal
element. As hard as Aaron may try, the seductive life of crime is too powerful
to resist, and Matt seems destined to aid Ronnie in his quest for revenge.
Hitting the streets in a stolen 350- horsepower 2004 GTO with both the L.A.P.D.
and a private security firm hot on their tracks, Ronnie and Matt will need
more than just gasoline and a prayer if their thirst for revenge is ever to be
quenched.
